I have realised that while I share a lot about my business, I have never really done a “Who am I” post. So here goes!
I’m Amy, I’m 46, born in Bangor, Wales to an RAF dad and a nurse mum, and it’s safe to say we travelled around a lot as a child.
I’ve been married for nearly 16 years to Jon who is my rock. We met via an online dating site, way before it became an acceptable way to meet. But it worked for us. We have a 14-year-old daughter who is a pain in the **** at times but more often a total delight to be with (she’s much wittier and cleverer than I am).
I’ve lived in Leeds since I was 18 and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I love running, well “love” is a strong word, but I’ve been told the more times you say it the more it is true. I have been really missing park run (thanks Covid) and all the races that we had planned, but they are slowly coming back.
As a family we like to travel and want to see as much of the world as we can. I’m quite a crafty person, in that I like making things and using my hands, but you will also find my hunched over a tricky jigsaw, or with my nose in a good book.
Untruths, lateness and litter really annoys me, and I am a proud member of the Austhorpe Wombles (a local litter picking group).
