What is a VA? This is a question I get asked fairly regularly, along with what can you do for me?

The answer to the first one usually goes along the lines of “do you remember a traditional PA or secretary? Yes? Well a VA is like that but with so much more added to it”.  That’s a very basic level explanation.  But it usually gets people thinking and a little more understanding.

The second one is usually answered with a question “What do you need us to do for you?”  Which opens a conversation about workloads, likes and dislikes, as well as pain points.  It usually includes references to family time, or lack of – yes we can actually help with that as well.
