Laura runs a professional catering company, providing business lunches, and private catering for funerals, parties etc. We were approached by her she was looking for some flexible holiday cover for herself. As a sole trader, she had not been able to have time away with her family since setting up her business, however she was due to visit a location where they would be very limited internet connection.
Rightly so, she was worried about the impact this week would have on her business. Laura had looked into using a temporary solution, but as she worked from home this caused practical implications. It was also not suitable as the level of support that was required was less than an hour per day.
After a short handover, and with copies of the various documents we may need, we were able to look after her diary and in box for the time she was away. We were also able to secure a booking that she would have missed had we not been providing this service.
